Heber City is holding an All Vote by Mail Municipal Election
- The Heber City Municipal General Election will be held November 5, 2019 for three (3) City Council Members, each with a 4-year term.
- Candidate filing period is Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, 2019. Declaration of Candidacy forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 75 North Main, Heber City, Utah, during the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- In accordance with Heber City Code, individuals filing as candidates for the Heber City Council shall pay a $50.00 fee at the time of filing their candidacy with the City Recorder. This filing fee shall be refundable only if it is determined that the person filing is not qualified to be a candidate, or who is found to have improperly filed. (Ord. 2003-25, 2003)

HEBER CITY 2017 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION
The Heber City Municipal General Election will be held November 7, 2017 for the following positions: Mayor and two City Council members (4-year term each).
FILING PERIOD
Candidate filing period is June 1, 2017 through June 7, 2017. Declaration of Candidacy forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed in person with the City Recorder (75 North Main, Heber City, Utah 84032) during the normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, the filing deadline time is 5 p.m.
FILING FEES
In accordance with Heber City Code, individuals filing as candidates for the Heber City Mayor or Heber City Council shall pay a $50 fee at the time of filing their candidacy with the City Recorder. This filing fee shall be refundable only if it is determined that the person filing is not qualified to be a candidate, or who is found to have improperly filed (Ordinance 2003-25, 2003).

Please contact Amy Bridge, City Recorder, with any questions or concerns at 435-657-7886. The Recorders office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd, 2017. Any one wishing to file a Declaration of Candidacy, may do so on Friday, June 2nd, 2017. However, no other city offices or departments will be open on that day.
Candidate eligibility:
- You must be a registered voter
- You must be a resident of the municipality (City of Heber) or recently annexed territory for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election.
- In accordance with Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to hold elective office is restored.
