Heber City
Ordinance Adoption
During the Regular City Council Meeting of July 6, 2021, the Heber City Council adopted Ordinance Numbers 2021-20, 2021-21, and Temporary Ordinance 2021-27. Ordinance 2021-20 approved a zone change agreement with the Gardens Apartments located at 160 West 500 North. Voting Aye: Council Members Franco, Hardman, Johnston, Kahler, and Stack. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance 2021-21 amended the Annexation Policy Plan for Heber City. Voting Aye: Council Members Hardman, Johnston, and Stack. Voting Nay: Council Members Kahler and Franco. The motion passed 3-2. Temporary Ordinance 2021-27 prohibited the new placement of shipping containers within commercial zones and; stayed enforcement for existing shipping containers in violation of current code, for the duration of six months. Voting Aye: Council Members Hardman, Johnston, Kahler, and Stack. Voting Nay: Council Member Franco. The motion passed 4-1.
